We asked AI too…
Everyone is asking AI to fix everything. So we asked it to repair a scratched car. After increasingly ridiculous solutions, a real ChipsAway technician arrives and fixes it properly, reminding us that some jobs still reward actual craft.
– Result: Produced at approximately 1/27th of the estimated traditional production cost currently being used as part of a meta campaign performing within the top 10% of ad creatives on the account.
‘Unexpected visitors’ repair Spec ad
A cheap repair can become very expensive when you have to repair the repair. The film exaggerates that idea by turning poor workmanship into a series of increasingly unwelcome consequences arriving at the homeowner’s door. Pimlico becomes the alternative: Don’t let a small saving become a big mistake.
– Result :Purely speculative
Future vision film
Showing a mock up of the future of the Metro group (Metro rod and Metro Plumb) using a collage style overlapping video.
-Result: Presented to 202+ in an internal franchisee conference
High on life (Literally) Spec
Warmzilla sells a low-friction, hassle-free customer experience. So we took that feeling literally. As everything is smoothly handled through his phone, Dave becomes increasingly relaxed, until he is so light he physically floats out of his house. Hassle-free heating taken to an absurd conclusion.
– Result: Warmzilla’s Head of Creative responded positively to the speculative campaign.
“Love this! I think it really captures who we are as a brand while showing just how easy and hassle free our services are for customers. It feels authentic, fresh and very on-brand. Definitely a cool vibe!”

Octopus spec
Octopus has built its brand by behaving differently from traditional energy companies.
So we used its most recognisable asset .
Constantine the octopus, to make the product message behave differently too.
High energy character.
Low energy prices.
Drain Doctor spec
Based around the human truth that people knowingly put incorrect things down the drain they shouldn’t do . 76% of brits have admitted to putting things down the drain they aren’t meant to (Home serve). By selling relief to the problem.
So playing on the idea that everyone knows it’s a recurring thing that we all do but with Drain doctor being the resolution.
Great British spec
We found “sh” hiding inside British already written in the brand’s own typography. That became a campaign about solar power quietly doing its job, placing “sh” in naturally quiet environments including libraries, hospitals and the countryside. A brand asset hiding in plain sight, turned into a simple campaign platform.
The mini spec campaign would have operated within other quiet locations assuming it would have got commisioned.
